  9. Optional software to make Download Deputy better:

  11. Netscape Navigator 3.0 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0: To use Download Deputy‚Äôs incredible URL Grabber, you must have Netscape 3.0 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher installed on your machine. Neither of these are necessary for regular FTP file downloading.

  13. Internet Config: Download Deputy‚Äôs ‚ÄòGo to DD Home...‚Äù item of the ‚ÄòDeputy‚Äô menu uses Internet Config to launch your preferred browser and open the Download Deputy home page.

  15. Stuffit Expander: Selecting the ‚ÄúAuto-Expand Files‚Äù option in the Options section requires that you have Stuffit Expander installed. To expand and decode most internet archives, you will also need the Expander Enhancer component that comes free with DropStuff.
